Despite having a dozen other wrench sets, I bought a 7mm-22mm metric set awhile back at a swap meet. I just couldn't pass up nice US made wrenches for cheap.

The USA ones are fine. They're basic, no frills wrenches that were made by Danaher, and may still be made by Apex, that's not fully clear.

They're basically the same as Craftsman RP wrenches without the raised panel. The same wrenches are still sold by Menard's under their Masterforce brand and they've been sold under the names K-D, Armstrong and probably others I'm forgetting.

Not for that price. The craftsman sets were in the 20 buck range for a bunch of them and these are quite similar in construction. They're not BAD, that's just not a good price point. The armstrong industrial stuff on clearance was cheaper than that...as I recall.

Look for a set in the 20 dollar range of these maybe don't go crazy and buy individuals for 5 bucks a pop.

I bought a metric set from Cripe a while back, like the set pictured above only in a black finish. They were dirt cheap and have served me well.
