Are Duratech & SK ratchets the same thing?

They sure look the same (front & back). Duratech is obviously a lot cheaper.

They have the same parent company. Identical, I'm not sure, but they will have similarities.

Most likely. I think SK's white label products are just rebranded Duratek. If i remember correctly, green label can be found on their website and white label is Amazon (but some green label is on Amazon too).

They are made in China now.
I have a few different versions that were sent to me in 3/8 and 1/4 inch drive. They are high tooth count with multiple pawls. I haven't had any issues with them, and they sure don't need much room to swing, which is handy.

Are the sk rebuild kits for the older ratchets still made in the us? My uncle offered me some of those round head ratchets but there older and they sell some high tool rebuild kits

That I am not sure of. I don't have any older SK ratchets at the moment and haven't needed to order any kits. I can try and find out though.

These are Chinese made. The SK round heads and LP90s are the "real" SK ratchets. See below

LP90 still made in US last I heard. As for the round heads, I was told by SK earlier this year that the bodies are forged and finished in China but the internals are made in USA (assuming 3rd party mfg?) and the final assembly is in USA.

The kits for older round head ratchets are still available so you should get the ratchets and check them out and repair or clean up as necessary
