Just wondering if I can order/warranty anything Armstrong through the Matco truck. I would like some stuff they sell that doesn't seem to be anywhere on the internet, and I'd also much rather not go through Fastenal for any warranty claims.

Yes, Matco trucks can get anything from the Armstrong, somethings are not very good on the price but it's available. Your local dealer might not want to and feed you some line of ******** about why not, but he or she can.

Can replace broken Armstrong tools under warranty too.Matco dealers can order Armstrong tools for one big reason, owned by Danaher too.Includes Gearwrench too since Danaher owns Gearwrench too.I had my Matco dealer replace an impact swivel with no problems at all.

I wish this was the case with MAC trucks. None of those guys were ever able to help me out with Facom or proto stuff, which is all owned by stanley-mac

Keep in mind while Matco is owned by dahner, they cant get all dahner stuff. I have a really good relationship with my Matco guy and buy gearwrench stuff from him all the time. He cant order all the sets Gearwrench sells however. I have seen the catalog he orders from and while he can get most of the sets...there are some he does not have access to through his Matco channels. On a side note...my Snap on guy also sells Gearwrench...i find that odd.

I have no idea about Armstrong as to the original question though...i can ask on wed. though if you like.
