Are Proto ratchet selectors backwards?

Just curious if the selectors on Proto pear-head ratchets are "backwards" relative to most other similar ratchets. i.e., right for clockwise drive and left for counterclockwise. I think I have a ratchet with a same style mechanism, and its switch is backwards from all my Snap-Ons.

I'm thinking of adding some Protos to the collection (both older 24-tooths and newer "XL" or Professional series), and would love some feedback on the mechanism. Does anyone have any pictures of the internals handy? I'm just curious, and didn't find much with a search...

Someone just posted the internals for a Proto Vogel doble head ratchet, adn its the same. all Proto made for Vogel.

And Yes, SO is bass-akwards compared to Proto on the switch direction

Just checked it out...those pictures confirm my suspicions! Don't want to quit using my Dual-80s, but have to decide if I can get used to reversed selectors...I can't even switch between typical pear and round heads!
