Are Ryobi TEK4 batteries compatible with Craftsman 4V?

At $15 bucks I couldn't resist ordering a couple of the Craftsman 4V cordless items. It appears clear that these are the same tools manufactured in different colors and names to the Ryobi line.

My experience is that in these situations the batteries are always designed a little differently so that you have to stay within the same brand for extra batteries, other tools etc.

I suspect that to be the case here but would be pleasantly surprised if I could mix the TEK4 line with my new Craftsman items.

Anyone know for sure?

Thanks for the help Kny21 and and cybrshrk!

Isn't it interesting that the "Junior member's" are the helpful ones versus the snarky "Senior Member's"?

was wondering the same thing, good to find out. I picked up the flashlight/drill combo for 14 bucks at Sears yestarday. The drill is fine for light fastening, not much more, seems less powerful than my old B&D versapak screwdriver from the 90s . The 2 speeds and drill function seem kinda pointless, The flashlight however is a real gem, overall nice kitchen drawer set, if you can find them worth the couple of bucks imo.
