Are there any Tool Boxes made for Industrial Tricycles ?

I've started my apprenticeship in machine repair and will probably want some tool boxes to go on my Tricycle. I'm wondering if there is already a company that supplies specific size boxes just for this purpose ?

A lot of guys have **** on their trikes that they've scrounged up from in and around the plant. Some are just boxes without drawers, others have somewhat better set-ups. Some of the guys boxes are so unorganized I don't see how they ever find anything to get the job done.

Some are made more heavy duty than
others, they also have some pedal
tricycles with two wheels in the front
for carrying cargo.

I would suspect something like a 26" top box bolted on the back is the best bet. I've assembled a couple dozen of them over the years working for a bicycle shop and I don't remember any purpose built tool boxes from the companies we ordered them from. Does seem like someone should have made a version or two.

At 41" I don't think it will fit in between
the wheels, but that box is cool.

I did see other smaller similar boxes that could work.

The bikes are called worksman cycles,we had a bunch with the front tray and a few with the
Basket in back at an engine plant I worked.

At The Willow Run Plant, which was a mile long, we had thousands of bicycles. Lots of them were tricycles, most with a big tray in front, but lots with the two wheels in back. We all had the Sheet Metal trades make us boxes for our bikes-you needed to carry lots of tools out to the job, and that job might be at the other end of the plant. Whatever design of toolbox we ended up with, they all had a locking lid -although no one left their tools in that box overnight-the whole bike could be gone the next day, and painted a different color!

Lol, there's a bit of Trike theft at
big Al's too, but I never heard of
anyone painting one, they're all black,

Oh yeah, you just had to go to the crib and get a can of Krylon-any color you wanted. Most of the bikes in the plant had layer upon layer of paint on them, like the rings of a tree trunk!

It really depends on what you work on, what's your trade (may be general maintenance), how large is the area to hold the box, how portable does the box need to be? At my last maintenance job (I'm an electrician), I had a standard gray craftsman carry box and my tool pouch. I carried my most used tools in the pouch and things like meters, test leads, largerchannel locks, sockets, wrenchs, hammers in the gray box. Worked really well, and was really portable.
