Are These "Blue-Point"

I have a stud extractor set thats been sitting in my box for a while that I purchased used somtime ago, I have other sets so never really took the time to look at these, Im wondering if they are really blue point or if somone stuck differnt ones in the box, The only etchings on the sockets themselves are the size-for hand use only-and either a 04 or 05. I was going to sell this set but not unless im sure the sockets are Blue Points which on my other stuff is usually stamped directly on the tool, the case# is s345 anyone else have these or know? THANKS

I have an identical appearing SAE set in an identical box. I think it is labeled with a German company name which I cannot remember...I'm at work and can't go look.
I also have a Snap-On collett type set, entirely different and much more expensive.
I got the German set after Googling something like stud extractor and collett, and got lots of hits on the same set, so easy to find to compare.

I bet they are. Blue-Point is usually just a re-label of another brand so not everything has the name on it. For example, this looks like the same set.

Assenmacher, above, is the name on my set...Ko-Ken or koken seems same

yes they are ast but carried by blue point... a lot cheaper than they used to be...

Thank You all I couldnt be certain, I only have a few sockets that are Blue Point and the name is etched directly on the socket so these had me wondering. What would happen if one of these were to break as far as replacement? I couldnt find anything on them from snap on or else where, I dont think they are still being sold in this particular Blue-Point set.

Its a bit upsetting as I prob paid a decent amount for them, Id rather have another 4pc+ set from Cornwell, Mac, Matco instead of these because the logo is on the tool.

if you buy a set from another company it would possibly be exactly the same. ast makes a good set and many other tool companies use the same ones. Lisle makes a ton of tools, and many companies put their name all over them. Knipex cutters on my truck say knipex. through cornwell and matco the each have their logo on the cutters.

Thanks for the info man, the only other ones ive seen up close are cornwell's and matco's each have the company name and U.S.A stamp which id prefer over the Blue-Points. Ive noticed alot of tools from lisle with differnt names on them as you stated, the markup somtimes is crazy just for a better name.

Most likely they are either Stahlwille or Hazet.

These days Blue Point is Snap-on's economy brand/some specialty tools much of it is sourced from other OEM's.

the newer blue point sets are the same box and same markings at AST. they were about 180 bucks a few years ago, now they are in the 60's a set. you see what happens to some prices when you let another company put it in their lower line of tools.

i bought the matco branded set identical to those they have the matco logo forged/stamped into them

i would have rather bought them from tooltopia (less $) but the customer kinda wanted their car back that day
