Found them in local HD. I have been out of power tool games too long and am no longer sure whether these are good deals or not. Some help is appreciated! Bags, tool and two small batteries

I've never been a fan of the atomic line. The current online price at HD for the drill/driver is $159 so $135 is a little bit of a sale, like a tad under 15%. Since I found it at Amazon for $113.81 (seller is Toolup) I'm gonna say NO it's not a deal.

The atomic Impact is a great tool, but the atomic hammer drill is anemic. Unfortunately, these come with low-amp, non-powerstack batteries, and I too would pass on both offerings.

Depending on what you're doing, the 2AH batteries are ok. They are my go to's for my drills and 1/4" impacts. I like them for their light weight. I dont use them hard, but I will use my main drill all day driving screws and it will last all day. Saws, sanders, router etc use the larger batteries.

As for the deals above, as a rule of thumb, I have always stayed away from the drills with the plastic chuck. I have a new atomic 1/4 impact, and I dont have any complaints about it though. It has a super short head, so it fit a need for me.

Some of the Dewalt kits include 1.3Ah batteries instead of 2.0Ah. It's worth a double check if it's important to you.

This appears to be the older model Atomic Impact. The pricing is a little better than the typical Christmas sales.

I picked this set up last week,on the fence as to keeping it, if my ryobi drops in the creek, I figured I have this as a replacement. Contains 2 of the 20 volt 1.5 amp batteries, DCD708 1/2" drill/ driver (brushless), and DCF809 impact driver (brushless). Drill has 2 speed settings 0-450 and 0-1650. Impact driver 1700 inch/lbs torque, 0-3200 impacts per minute. Charger is DCB107, 12v/20v charging. Paid $135.00. The Toolup price referenced,is, if I am not mistaken, for the DCD708 only.
