What makes you think that? They look just like the cheap GW's I have . Why would anyone with the capability to do so make a clone of a cheap tool? I can see why someone might want to make counterfeit Snap On wrenches, there is potentially going to be a financial windfall.
I agree. Those are typical run-of-the-mill Gear Wrenches. Anyone in their right mind wouldn't bother to clone a Gear Wrench. If you're going to clone something, clone something that is worthwhile. lolol

And even if it was a cheap clone of a cheap tool, the end result is.... you still end up with a cheap tool. lol

Why would anyone clone cheap *** GearWrench lobster claw wrenches? There’s no money to be made by doing that.

You couldn’t give them to me. Into the trash they would go.

You can buy fake casio F91w... A $17 watch. Just because something is cheap does not mean there isn't money to be made faking it.

That said, I doubt these are fakes

There are different versions of the same Gearwrench wrenches. Big Box stores and special price sets are one type and sets sold through jobbers often have individual part numbers and are a different version. Vintage also plays a part.

Those look real to me, too.

Those were the ones that were almost always on sale at the big box stores.

…like $2 a wrench…

Honestly, a lot of tool for the price.

Are there/were there better ratcheting wrenches out there… hell yeah/**** yeah… but, not for those prices.

They filled a role that Craftsman use to market to. Good enough tools at great prices.

But that Casio is totally worth it. It is inexpensive, but definitely not cheap (good quality, programmable, modifiable, and can be used in other electronic projects)
