Are these K-36 Pliers Diamond?

Picked up these slip joint pliers. No maker, just FORGED U.S.A. and K-36 in the diamond shape I usually associate with Diamond Horseshoe Company. They look like Diamond K-36 with out all of the markings. Possibly supplied for someone else by Diamond? Possibly made by someone else under license?

Yes those pliers are made by Diamond. I've found that the strip on the inside handle is a great indicator for Diamond made tools. Diamond has made pliers for brands like Duro Chrome, Indestro, Motor Spec, Lakeside, and I'm sure many others.

I found a pair of the K-36 pliers on Saturday and picked them up assuming that they were made by Diamond.
