Are These Pullers?

They look like pullers but I'm not sure what for. And I've dealt with many type but don't remember ever seeing these.

Those are chain pullers. They pull two sections together. Picture bicycle chain.

I'm curious in what application these would be needed. Every bike and motorcycle I've worked on has external adjusters and wouldn't need these.

Farm and industrial equipment. Look up roller chain and see what sizes it comes in. When working with chain that is 5-10 lbs per foot you need tools.
