Are these the worst tool holders or am I missing something?

I thought they looked tidy enough when I got them (HF clones) but it takes way too long to find the right place & land in both holes w/o it going cocked. Is there a trick and/or how did you fix dealing w/t-allen storage?

That does look annoying.

For $9, it's got to be hard to beat this Eklind stand. I have this one and it's easy to get the wrenches in and out. It's a universal stand so it has slots for both Sae and Metric. They show images of using one stand for each but for standard dipped handles the wrenches all fit, though they are pretty close together. If you've got big comfort handles, they might not fit.

I akso liked this one because I wanted to hang it in the wall and this design allows that. The sizes can be hard to see, especially if you have all the wrenches in there together.

Thanks, I might pick that one up but don't know if it'll work w/the fatter plastic handles of the HF set (looks like it might). These look nice but too rich for my blodd:

At least that holder is wide enough to stand up without tipping. I had the HF sets and the holders for metric and fractional are discrete for each set and narrow. Gave 'em away.

Yes, those folded metal holders are the worst holders on earth and since I hate using them, I never lose them, and therefore I've had a version of these for decades and I'm too lazy to 3d print something for a $10 set of hex keys.
