I was looking at these two cooling system pressure testers. One I see all over the net under different names/prices but looks the same. Also Snap On sells it under the Blue Point name. The BP one looks like it comes with two more adapters but is that where the difference ends? Are they the same manufacture? There is a $100 price difference. I seen these go for $99.

Also does anyone have any experience with this universal adapter? If it works good I like to get this and use a air operated pressure tester instead of a hand pumper.

Probably the same manufacturer, it appears the (amount of) adapters might be different.

I've seen people get the Mityvac adapter stuck in radiator necks before. Redline makes a not so cheap adapter set that works well on most applications.

Although the individual adapters from AST or Stant get expensive quick, they probably work the best overall.

I never heard of Redline. It seemed like a nice kit. I just ordered the complete set with pressure tester and adapters for $137. Thanks for the reference.
