you won't know until you get them. The US made and PRC made sets share the same part numbers. I don't think those sets are fast movers and they were pulled from retail stores over a year ago so, you may get US made sets. You can always return them if you don't.

Guess there is only one way to find out... And since they are offering free shipping... Guess I could find out the hard way... But dang I wish their website was better than the pile it is today...

Do a ship-to-store so you don't have to pay shipping costs.

Craftsman isn't like Snap-On. They're proud to make products in America and will stamp MADE IN USA right on the tool. If they're not stamped MADE IN USA, then they're not. You can return them at that point. If you did ship-to-store, then all you're out is your time to drive to the store. Which you would've spent any way if you weren't shopping online.

Of course, I don't know about your store. A couple local Sears still have new-old-stock of those "huge" wrench sets. They're not real popular on the shelf, so the USA ones have just sat. You may be able to just drive there and buy a set.

Well, I'll let you know in a few days as I ordered both on Saturday. Notice that there are only 2 sets left of the metric set. I took that to mean of "Made in USA" and then probably switch to China made (ad said 3 sets before I ordered). Also, those sets are not available in the stores--at least at the 6 Sears near me. But shipping was free and I used another coupon for an even better deal.

Pretty sure those are. I saw some in Summit the other day and they said USA. Maybe they weren't the full polish. I'd say its a good shot.

The picture of the metrics is really old - it shows the SK made C-man pro wrenches (you can tell by the flare at the box end). My point is that the website photos are not reliable!

Thanks for the info guys... I don't think I want to waste time with hoping they're USA and then have to find time to go return them so I'll just keep an eye out on the secondary market then...

Thanks again GJ!

Proudly made in the USA, using only the finest Chinese steel that undocumented Mexican immigrants can strip mine from mines in India. There, does that cover all the silly stereotypes/biases present on this forum? Oh, and sold at sears which is staffed by UNMARRIED SINGLE MOTHERS OF INTERRACIAL CHILDREN.

Whew, that should about cover it.

Steen, my order got delivered yesterday and both sets are made in USA. I have now completed my wrench sets from Sears (all online ordered) and all have been USA. How long that will last? Don't know which is why I got them now.
