Yeah, that's a lot of wrenches. Still, I am drawn like a moth to a flame...

Looks like 125 complete sets, plus hundreds of extras.

considering that I've seen those sets for sale for $29.99, then factoring in the time to package and ebay it etc and it's really not that great of a deal. Then again, I'd assume that it would go for $3k then figure on 300 for truck shipping of pallet etc. Those deals are always tempting though. We need a deal like that on Lista cabinets :D

been cleaning through my garage and tools. I had some rought looking Cman wrenches that I am not using (they are spares) so I thought I would take them in for exchange. I asked the girl (very cute girl)if I could pay the difference and get the other ones (Cman pros). she said 'whats the difference" so I told her the other othe are shiney and that I like shiney things.
she said ok and exchanged mine for those.

now I have more usable wrenches

group buy?

Might work if we were all in the same city, but...

You see, she likes shiny things too, so she could relate. She probably liked useless **** like diamonds, though. Unless they're on my saw blades, that is...

Stanley Proto...I'll pass on that and stay with my Cman Pros

That's what I was thinking... the seller is Stanley-Proto, but it looks like the wrenches that are up for auction are the Stanley Walmart specials. Am i wrong???

It looks that way. At least one of the bidders on that auction is also an eBay seller that I have bought from in the past.

All of the Stanley/Proto items I bought were US-made, so these may be as well.

Only 125 complete sets possible, nearly 1000 each of 6mm and 7mm.

Sure ***** to be a stanley retailer right now.

Are the Walmart specials the polished professionals that don't mention proto? :headscrat There are 13 piece sets on e-dumpster for <$30. They "look" ok but I'm wondering if they're any better than Craftsman raised panels.

Those are your typical shiny Chinese wrenches. For serious tools, and only for a few $$$ more, just go buy Craftsman Professional. Save the Staneys for the road kit.
