USPS dropped off some goodies today. First is this Craftsman precision tool set. 12 screwdrivers and 5 long pliers. Pliers are marked China, screwdrivers aren't marked with coo. I've never seen this set before. Anyone know anything about it?

Also got this 20pc Driver Light set. Made in the USA coolness. Probably from the early 90's. It's outdated technology, but like new and works perfectly and neat to play with.

Last but not least is this continUturn ratchet. I've only ever seen these for sale at Ace in a set with sockets, but maybe Sears sold them also. I got the set. Its made in China and seems gimmicky, but it seems to work ok and the finish is ok. Actually it's kind of neat.
It rained almost the entire day here so I messed around in the shop. I got the idea to do something with the zip ties in the bottom of a toolbox drawer. Always a mess and I could never find what I needed when I needed it. I did some research and came up with something that would work.
First step in the glue up process. My wife said something the other day about having to many clamps. Nope!
I looked at some made from pvc, but didn't have any extra pvc so went with wood. I could have used 4 more 4" clamps. The pieces were to small for bigger clamps.
Well clean and organized didn't last very long. This was yesterday after working on a few projects. Did get my son's mini bike going yesterday. That was the best thing I've done all week in there.
I got a couple of projects done this week. I made a pantry organizer for the back of the pantry door. I've been wanting to make one for 3 years. I'm thinking about making one fort the shop door.

I also made this silverware drawer organizer. Something like this would also be good in toolbox drawers.
For the bottom I used 1/4" sanded plywood from Lowe's. I bought a 1/4 sheet. For the rest of it I used 1/4x3 poplar from Lowe's. It was the right size for the depth of my drawer. I used simple **** joints with tight bond wood glue (blue label) for this project. I nailed it together with 23ga. pin nails. With this thin stock you really have to check everything for squareness. For finish I used Minwax wipe on poly.
I salvaged this old piece of red oak from the fire wood pile.

Made these little candle holders out of it today. Nice little morning project. The candle holders are for the people who worked in my classroom with me this past school year.
