Just trying to confirm that for a new vinyl siding install (or reinstall in my case to be precise) this mounting block is the preferred one? It seems so simple and easy - not sure what I'm missing. The idea of not recessing a jb (especially in middle of 8 or so trimmers I have existing) is really nice.
Still work with heavy fixtures and barn lights with that leverage?
