Armorpoxy coverage - 2nd coat needed?

I bought two 600 sqf master kits to handle a 950 sqf detached garage. New concrete, very smooth surface although I used a diamond grinder before etching. Somehow I managed to cover the whole garage with just one kit for both the primer and epoxy. I have an attached three bay as a spring project so I am thrilled to have a full kit leftover but before I lay down the upgraded 2 part military topcoat which I was hoping to do TODAY I was wondering if I instead should use the second kit to put down a second coat of epoxy. With that kind of coverage I am concerned it somehow went down too thin although it looks fine aside from being able to see some roller streaks where I went went back over certain areas. ArmorPoxy is closed today so figured I would post here.

Most likely you were able to spread the color coat very thin without noticing since you used a primer coat. You may have been applying too much pressure to the roller during application. I would suggest applying the second coat to ensure the best performance and color consistency of the floor.

Armorpoxy agrees, it went down too thin which defeats the purpose of the thick coating. Kits are properly sized for the areas they are designed for and normally shouldn't have tons left over.

I used a full kit and a half for my 850 ft^2 garage last week and I used it all up. So definitely apply the second batch.

PS - I used armorpoxy and it looks fantastic!
