I just got my armorpoxy II kit in the mail for my shop. I went with medium gray. The salesman said not to use flake on it because it dried really fast making it hard to install. Looking at pictures I think the flake looks nicer. Reading the included directions it has steps for if you use the flakes and doesnt mention anything about it being hard to install them. Anyone use it with the flecks?
A little disappointed in the "kit". The bucket liner was broken and it didnt come with trays for the 18" roller, safety glasses or gloves like I thought so I still have to drive into town and buy more stuff. I emailed them late Thursday afternoon expecting to hear from them today but didnt. I was hoping on installing it this weekend but its not off to a great start unfortunately.

Hi,
We are not aware of an email coming in, as we generally respond during normal business hours within about 30 minutes.

The reason we usually don't recommend flecks with APII is that it is not as thick as the 100% solids we carry and the flecks don't sink in as well and the surface can be more textured than some people like. Another reason we sometime don't recommend flecks in shops is that the flecks make the floor 'busy' and small parts become rather hard to locate when dropped. They will work fine though if you want to use flecks from a mechanical standpoint.

Kit contents are listed on our website at link below and don't include the items you mentioned which we normally go over upon request. If there was any miscommunication on our part, we apologize, and will gladly reimburse you for these sundry items if you desire. Please email us copies of your order and the receipts.

We strive for happy customers! Please call our office or email M-F 9-5 EST so we can address any of your concerns. Thank you.

Sorry for not getting back sooner. I thought they came with kit based off watching one of your videos about the job on a pallet, I either misunderstood the video or its outdated. I didnt read on your site, which is partially my fault for not looking into better. Someone did email 3 or 4 days later about the liner.

I couldn't find the liners locally so ended up buying some more buckets along with the 18" roller trays, which lowes is very proud of, lol.

The floor turned out really well and seems very durable. I think it may have looked better if it had the flecks but I still like it. I have to admit it is easier to see small items on the floor without the specs. I can also see how having that additional step would have made it alot harder being my first time using this product. I plan on doing my 2 car garage next once I get everything moved out into the shop.

Great glad it worked out. You may have looked at our Armorclad video which does show flecks, but then ordered the Armorpoxy II system. We apologize for any mixup. You are correct it's better to not use flecks if there Will be small parts hitting the floor as the fleck do make them hard to find.

For graves we recommend our Armorclad System. Since 1998 over 250,000 successful installations.
