I recently finished the third round for the garage floor.

1st - Armorpoxy ArmorClad w/ partial flake and military topcoat (yellowed after a couple years in main garage, separate garage still looks great)
2nd - Swisstrax - pearl silver and pearl gray (unable to keep the garage as clean as I'd like)
3rd - Armorpoxy
4.5 gals ArmorUltra light gray epoxy for the base
80lbs lanai gray flake
6 gals Ultrafast Polyaspartic Clear

The reason for removing the tiles - I strugged with the Swisstrax from the beginning as I wasn't able to keep the garage as clean as I'd like without removing the tiles for a deep clean. I tried vacuuming, surface cleaners, pressure washing, etc. but there's no real way to scrub the floor without pulling the tiles up. I detail part-time and polish 2-3 cars a month.

Apr '22 - I've finally started mid-March to prep the floor for a redo. Armorpoxy staff (Arthur & Laurie) were super helpful along the way and after three phone calls I finally placed the order. My wife acted as a good helper and it took us three consecutive days to get all the materials down.

I gotta say, the garage floor looked incredible with the tiled floor. The coated floor looks okay too, but nothing like the tiled floor's awesome look. Why did you have issues keeping it clean? I mentioned in another thread that I just pressure wash mine with a surface cleaner once a year and it stays looking brand new.

Nice work and cool garage. You're going to be a pro applicator.

Did you consider any other coatings such as Ballistix by Armor Poxy or TS210 by Concrete Sealers USA? I am currently researching which type of coating to use and have seen great reviews on both of these products. Hoping not to seal three times.

The tiles are good five footer but up close they were gross, even after a relatively short time. I would vac, pressure wash, scrub, surface cleaner, etc. monthly but there's no way to clean underneath w/o removing them. I did that annually. I replaced a decent sized section of tiles and the new ones didn't match.

It's just a cleanliness thing.

I wanted a way to cover the expansion joints and a full broadcast seemed to be the best way to achieve it. I didn't do much shopping beyond the phone calls w/ Armorpoxy.
