I started doing my dyno room floor racing red today and ran out primer really early. When I did my other shop grey I actually had alot of primer left over. They only sent me 2 qt can A&B primer and I have gallons of everything else. Now I have a 1/2 primed floor and its after hours so Im stuck waiting until tomorrow to find out what to do. The worst part is I had to shut down a week to do the floor and have to be back up and running by Monday.

I don't understand your post, are you blaming Armorpoxy because you came up short? If you have done this before you should have had an idea what amount you needed. Did you not question the 2 qts beforehand and think what I don't think this is enough?

I havent done this small of area before, my last order the quantities were much larger and werent the smaller gallon and qt cans. Good news, after talking to armorpoxy they said I should have 2 more gallons. Went back to the shop and looked and in the very back of the shelf where we have all our boxes of parts there was one more box we missed. Guess what was in it, 2 gallons of primer. Our order came in multiple shipments and I thought I kept all of the boxes together but I didnt. So we are back on track.

Ended up getting some light spots due to running very close on epoxy so I ordered more so Im delayed another week and have to sand the floor now. This racing red is much less forgiving than the grey I did before but will look really awesome once I get another coat on it. It will just be a really, really expensive floor after shutting the dyno down for 2 weeks and having to put two coats on.

Hi
Racing Red is a more difficult color to apply, and yes, is less forgiving, and usually ends up being more expensive as coverage can be a bit less depending on floor type and shade and porosity.

We do ship in multiple boxes often to assure safe transit as heavy boxes of cans can be easily transit damaged.

Again we strive to provide excelllent customer service and happy customers and our email system is monitored after hours as best as possible.

Thanks!

Armorpoxy customer service has been great start to finish. I recommend them to everyone and will use them on every floor I do.
