I am looking to put down a tile type garage flooring as I have researched I was looking at RACEDECK but now I have found a product with twice the warranty 30 years but I can not find anyone that has used it.

If anyone can shed some light on this product I would really appreciate it.
I know RD rattles but if you put down landscape cloth it helps alot and jacks on top can dent it also but the ARMORPOXY is a solid pvc material that weighs 2 times what RD does but is it a better product? Opinions please welcome:bowdown:

That's cool! Thanks for sharing... I would love to change my dining area flooring though because just last month I had my bedroom flooring changed to a solid colored tiles which my husband loves a lot.

Does not sound like anyone has used it. Their industrial duty tiles look interesting though I do not care for the way the interlocking tiles work, I like a clean line. Their garage duty tiles do not carry the warranty that Racedeck does. I would assume their are cheap version like many others on the market, but I have no experience with them.

I used the Armorpoxy Tiles and they are by far a much better product. My friend has the Race Deck and hates them, and his wife even more since they are so noisy when walking on them in heels.

The Race Deck and other similarly constructed tiles sound cheap and noisy and for about the same money/sq ft they are so much nicer. The jacks and tools don't affect them at all and my floor has been down about five years now and looks truly brand new.

You really are comparing two completely different designs, material and floor systems. Here is my suggestion when looking at any flooring product
- get samples and determine what is best for you
-how long has the company been around? is their warranty 10-20-30 times longer than they have been in business?
-get feedback from those who used various styles ( like on this forum )
- is the tile material soft ( huge expanision issues)
- does the tile allow air and moisture to escape?
- what is your budget?

who knows, maybe another style floor may be better for your needs ( epoxy, stain, carpet?)

1 post about Armorpoxy...

Coincidentally the owner of Armorpoxy's name is also Mike Logan.

Did you perhaps forget to disclose something to us?

Dear Ishiboo,
Armorpoxy is not owned by Mike Logan. That is absolutely incorrect and false.

Thank you.

Dear Ishiboo,
Armorpoxy is not owned by Mike Logan. That is absolutely incorrect and false.

Thank you.

It's understandable if Ishiboo made a mistake as this website has a Michael Logan listed as the owner.

http://www.manta.com/c/mml6b0t/armorpoxy-commercial-garage-flooring

This one does also.

http://www.onesource.com/free/Michael-Logan/People/Profile/84421367-1

And this one.

http://www.paintlist.us/company-armorpoxy-in-union-nj-25865

And this one.

http://www.chamberofcommerce.com/union-nj/25969719-armorpoxy/

That one I like as it's the local Chamber of Commerce.

Also,

http://www.merchantpages.com/b/20663589/armor-poxy
http://www.salespider.com/bp-80825054/michael-logan
http://www.fastreviewsonline.com/mobile-home-dealers/armorpoxy/in/union/new-jersey/review
http://www.finduslocal.com/paint-glass-and-wallpaper-stores/new-jersey/union/armorpoxy

And a bunch of others. I'm sure some of them are coping off of each other, but still it seems pretty clear that a guy named Michael Logan is the owner.

Now it may be a total coincidence that a brand new account by the name of Michael Logan came to this site and said how wonderful the product was and trashed the competition.

But it doesn't look good.

Dear Bluntspoon,

Here are the facts, so yes a mistake was made.

What apparently happened here is that a few years ago somehow Dun and Bradstreet listed a "Michael Logan" as the owner. We have no clue how this happened since we do not report to D&B as we are a privately held company. Perhaps one of the sites listed below fed to them, we just don’t know. There is not and never was anyone by that name affiliated with Armorpoxy. We were unaware of this again until early this year, but apparently had been listed that way for a while. (We were wondering why we also were getting a lot of calls for ‘Mr. Logan’ trying to sell us insurance, copiers, etc). From this error it apparently fed numerous internet sites for a while which incorrectly published this information. The analogy would be form of identity theft. We finally discovered this in early 2013 and had D & B correct it based on their verification from State of NJ records and our tax filings. As for all of these other incorrect things on the Internet hopefully they will correct themselves over time or by our correction submissions.

The website for the Union NJ Chamber of Commerce is at the link below, not the link from some other site 'chamberofcommerce.com' which is not the website for our local Chamber of Commerce or affiliated with it in any way, nor any other Chambers which all have their own websites, you stumbled upon which also seems to be fed from the incorrect info.
You can see clearly here the correct information from OUR chamber which we are a participating member of. Our chamber has our listing correct, and our correct address, not the incorrect address listed on the incorrect link.

http://www.unionchamber.com/member-directory/item/armorpoxy

Apparently all of the other links you took the time to post are all fed between each other and this is a clear case of what is on the internet may not be accurate.

Feel free to contact us at any time with your garage flooring questions or concerns. We appreciate the support of many Garagejournal customers.
