I just finished my 2-car garage makeover. I was fortunate enough to take advantage of the .50 cent offer from Armorproxy. I ordered everything by email and the folks over at Armorproxy were very friendly and answered all my questions and concerns. I ordered the Supratile 5.5mm Slate Hidden dovetail joint tile and the glue on-ramp edging 10 feet for the garage door opening. Installation was easy using a rubber mallet hammer. It was challenging towards the end when out of nowhere the tiles were not aligning even though everything seemed fine. I finally decided to take a chance and re-did an entire row that appeared straight but that solved my problem. I used a jigsaw to make my cuts with no problem. I put the tile in our vacation home. I didn’t have the exact dimensions of the garage and ended up ordering 6 boxes in excess. I ordered approximately 200 pieces in total. The freight shipping of $525 shocked me initially but it seemed appropriate once I realized the weight of the delivery was over 900 lbs. I love the look and feel of the slate design. It didn’t feel slippery at all and I’m sure it will last for many years with no problem. I just wanted to share my experience.
