Anybody have first hand experience with these wrenches? I'm interested in the 7 piece SAE set, one side traditional box end with a ratcheting box end on the other side. I can pick a used set up pretty cheap and I'm wondering if any of you have used them. Thanks in advance for any input/opinions.

I have those and hardly use them since I got the zero offset set from gearwrench.

Ah yes, the original proswing ratcheting wrench set. To me these are the most functional ratcheting wrenches.

Why? this style of wrench gives you a 15 degree offset fixed boxed end wrench on one side to break fasteners loose or for final tightening, and provides you a 72 tooth ratcheting box end for speeding the fastener on or off quickly on the other side.

I don't use an open end wrench often so, to me these wrenches are the best combination of form and function.

Ebay is your friend for finding these sets.

There are other variations on these, the extra long gearwrench versions with a zero offset fixed boxed end. Matcos insanely priced ** long version with a flex head ratcheting end, and several newer spline versions with 90 tooth actions.
