Based on what have learned on Alloy Artifacts ... this wrench appears to be a 623C 7/16x1/2 Check-Nut Wrench. I've gone through all the examples yet can't quite seem to be able to assign a date range to this wrench.
The use of 1/2" and 7/16" points me in one direction. The lack of any markings (with the exception of one bump on the shaft approx 1/2" down from the face with the Armstrong logo) point me a different direction.
If anyone is an expert on Armstrong - I'd appreciate any info you could add to this wrench. Thank you.
