They've been gone for months! Good to see them back.
I've found that the open stock pieces are almost the cheapest from AAP, even before coupon. For example, SK replacement bits for hex bit sockets are around $2 a piece, which is a fantastic deal. Most of the stuff, however, comes out pretty average after the better coupons. Many of the open stock sockets are a few bucks too, where as tooltopia starts charging $10, $15+ a socket when you reach certain sizes (even in 3/8 drive!).
Couple of other good deals:
Armstrong 1/4 drive flex MAXX ratchet: $63.99-$20 ($20 off $50) puts it a dollar lower than epstein's. If you spent another $11, and use a $30 off $75, you can get it for about $40, and then you also have another socket or whatever you used as filler.
Armstrong 1/2 drive flex MAXX ratchet: $118 (add $7 in filler) and use a $50 off $125. $75 shipped compared to epstein's $93+shipping price tag.
You have to look and search, but it can be done to get some killer prices.
I just bought the Armstrong flex head ratchets myself. I found a coupon for $40 off $110 plus free shipping that i usd for the 1/2". Now to sell my new Gearwrench flex set to offset the cost. This place will make me go broke!
What makes the armstrong superior?

Yes they are indeed Matco rebrands.

I'd say the matco are armstrong rebrands.....![]()
Yes they are indeed Matco rebrands. And the are absolutely made in the USA. The US military uses only Armstrong in their Hummvee boxes.
I have 3 Armstrong Maxx Ratchets and they are exceptional. I wouldn't trade them for GW any day.

Tool truck quality at Craftsman prices.

Hahaha, not quite tool truck quality (have you seen the terrible chrome on the sockets?!?) and not close to craftsman prices. It's more of an awkward midling brand with some very nice ratchets.
Yep. Armstrong makes them for matco. I've got a set of double box matcos I bought only because I got a deal on them. New armstrong same wrench 1/3 of the price.

Have you been on HJE? Pretty close.
