Armstrong Box

Attached is a picture of an Armstrong tool chest I’m thinking of buying. Any idea who makes it for Armstrong? Although not sure, I don’t think they make their own boxes.

It looks very similar to a Sykes Pickavant box that i had about 10 years ago. As i recall the Sykes box was made by SPG International in Canada. Maybe they make the Armstrong boxes too. It's a shame that the Armstrong brand guys don't frequent this site anymore, as Steve could have given you a definative answer.

Quattro: You might be right; the owner said it was made in Canada, and he believed it was at least 5 years old.

No, not Canada - it's made in the Danaher Matco facility in NY. That model now was full width drawers.

Of what I can see thats a handsome box. I like that it doesn't have the aluminum strips on the pulls.

I saw the box; it was rugged and very well made. My friend bought it; unfortunately, it didn’t fit my roller chest.
