Haven't found any references to an Armstrong Bridgeport pipe vise with this model number.

Hoping to gain two things from posting it here: As much information as there is to be had about the thing, and some empty space in the lower building. I am not a plumber or pipefitter.

OWWM site has a little bit of info on Armstrong of Bridgeport including an early catalog. A couple pics of the vises. Looks like a nice pipe stand that probably came along sometime later. I sure wouldn't throw it out of the shop unless it was leaking oil. Ed.

It's cool from a vintage tool standpoint, but how much does that monster weigh? My Rigid TriStand is heavy enough with a cast aluminum top!

The vise is also cool, but I really prefer the versatility of a chain-type pipe vise.
