Hello, and thanks for any and all replies.

Wondering when & where the last series [i.e. 25-***] of Armstrong standard 6pt & 12pt, 'full polish' combo wrenches were made?
Were they during the Danaher-owned period, or before, or after?
I've seen the Alloy-Artifacts & ToolArchives .com's, but I'm not seeing any references to the [#25-***] series of either the: Stubby, Std. and/or Long Pattern, 'full polish' combo wrenches.

I can't tell you where they were made, but I have noticed that the first generation of Armaloy wrenches that employ that numbering system are a LOT beefier along the length of the shaft compared to the 11xx & 11xx-L Models., which I would characterize as "svelte" by comparison. I think the later 25-xxxx are probably the Danaher made (ARMSTRONG is stamped in outlined letters) Those seem to be laying around a lot of places as NOS, probably because they were over-produced.

If they have the five-digit numbering system, as you mention **-***, then they are post '77. I couldn't tell you anything more than that, as it is past my interest in Armstrong. But, if you compare them to various Danaher products, I bet you could narrow it down.

Thanks very very much you guys! Really appreciate your input & info! I do have some of the **-*** series of combo wrenches (of which sparked my curiosity as to when/where they were made), but don't really have any other Danaher wrenches or products, that I know of, to compare them with. However the Armstrong **-*** combo wrenches do look very similar to my Craftsman Pro & Craftsman Industrial wrenches. And I have read here on these GJ forums — that Armstrong did make some or most (or all?) of the Cman Pro & Industrial lines.
However, I've yet to find any documentation and/or definitive info on where/when the **-*** series were made.
But it's helpful to know that they are post 77', thanks bmwrd0 & outofbounds !;-)
