I bought one of these earlier this year and really like it, I sometimes forget its there since it's all closed up but if I am working on the trailer or something it is great to be able to take it outside with every general tool you need right there. They seem to still be popping up for sale here and there. I hope I have it for a long time, I just can't lift the sucker!

Thats alot of cash. Are these serialized and do they come with Armstrongs warranty?

I got a pretty good deal. When you consider the case alone is $500 and the fluke is worth $300, plus you get everything else. I don't think there is a serial number on it. I understand the warranty is still valid.

It's a nice set depending on what you're working on and how much you paid for it. I don't care for 12 point sockets and there is isn't any 1/4 inch drive stuff but, it's still a well packaged general purpose set especially if you travel.

Not one to hijack a thread but, I like armstrong ratchets I have a 1/4 which I pick up from a boot sale ( dunno how id explain boot sale kinda 2nd hand market ) years ago but would like a 3/8and 1/2 to go with it, can I get these in usa shops and which ones?.
