A guy in my town is selling 3 sets, he gives no info on what they are (other than typical grainy CL pic) and lists no price. Just says make offer.

This is the set, at least what I can tell from the pic.

I was thinking about buying all 3 of them as cheap as i can and pass them on to you guys, as I dont really need them. But I dont know if Armstrong is in demand at all.
What do you think?

Wait a minute, there are Armstrong tools and then there are Armstrong tools. Not all Armstrong tools are created equal these days. Take the set in the linked picture, look at the ratchet, it it the classic pear shaped Armstrong head with the modified rectangular handle? No. What's pictured is the generic Danaher made 45 tooth round head POS ratchet without quick release with a knurled handle that was branded KD and NAPA before they stopped making KD hand tools. The sockets may be no better that current Craftsman versions down to the double stake retention in female square drive. The tools may say Armstrong on them but, they're not the same high standard tools Armstrong is known for. I would say no thanks and keep looking.:wtf:
