I bought a single wrench to fill a missing spot in my Armstrong Long metric set. When it showed up it had an 'AS' logo rather than the arm and hammer type logo. Can someone educate me on the differences here such as change in mfgr or location, date, etc.?

"AS" stamp would likely be to demonstrate the tool is in compliance with aerospace industry standards for tools that use the same P/N as their non-AS stamped versions (plating thickness would be one place they can differ, and is part of the AS specification requirement).

Yup, that's the stamp for Armstrong's recently released aerospace line. Although, some (or maybe all) of the new AS tools have the same part number as the old tools, so it appears they're just replacing some of the regular tools with the Aerospace tools.

The main difference is the new AS ratchet are 88 tooth.
