First off, a very special thanks to GJ members, d42jeep and 3baygarage for all their help in finding out more about the wrench in question. I had seen the font/script before, but my age is catching up to me and my memory is not what it used to be, and both of these members put me on the right track.

Let me state this up front and tell you that I think we know who made the wrench in question, but for what company did they make them for is still a mystery to me.
d42jeep told me that GJ username already in use, posted it in the Barcalo thread. So, the hunt was on, and I went to the AA website and sure enough the font/script did look the same.

That brought up point No. 2 Barcalo Manufacturing Company was located in Buffalo, New York and the Arrow Tool Company Inc. was also located in Buffalo, New York, is this just a coincidence, did the Barcalo company make the wrench for the Arrow tool company, that is a tough question to ask?

Point No. 3 the wrench in question is not a pierce Arrow wrench just in case anyone was thinking that.

Point No. 4 Because I have so little information about the Arrow tool Co. I cannot make any assumptions at this point and time if they had the Barcalo company make the wrenches for them or not?

A link to the AA website and a picture of their wrench and pictures of my wrench in question.

The more I think about it, why would a company go to all the trouble and pay for tools without listing their own company name on such tools like your crescent wrench?:dunno:

Did someone at the Barcalo Company think maybe they wanted a new line of tool and picked the arrow name? Although I think not with such low production runs out there?

That leads me to believe, perhaps a special contract with someone that wanted that very name?

Too many question and no answers...sigh:dunno:

One of those adjustables is clearly marked by Williams, which I think was brought up before by Davethorik iirc. I have several Arrow adjustables and they are a bit different, no Williams marks.

FWIW, there was also an Arrow Tool Company in Chicago (1947 - about 1973). Their main product was jackhammer chisels.
Their "Arrow Tool" logo is a script style.
The plant burned down in the early 70's. An oil quenching tank caught fire and the Chicago Fire Department poured water into it until the flaming oil overflowed and set everything else on fire. 🤦‍♂️
They still exist as Arrow Pneumatics.

Woody, you are correct about 1920. Their current website says "100 years" but their "About" says 1947. Maybe 1947 was when their sintered products or pneumatics division started.

Sorry to interrupt, back to Buffalo.
