Okay so let's see some classic Art-Deco tools and machines. I just love that style when it comes to tools. Pics anyone?

Cool, I love Art Deco and there are so many machines out there that reflect that era. This is a 1941 Craftsman , that cover has Art Deco written all over it.

Here are some pics of my grandfathers vise I restored and gave to my father a few years ago. It's a Wilton Shop King. Has a cool art deco style.

That is awesome! I love how tools/machines back in the day were built to be functional, last forever and look good at the same time. I swear I was born in the wrong era.

Here's an odd one that I can't find out much about...a PAPEC pedestal for sanding..or something....some kind of sanding disc? Papec manufactured farm implements starting in 1901... but I can find nothing out about this piece...it's cool though with fantastic build quality. It has a RH threaded disc and multi-speed pulley.

These aren't mine (they belong to fellow GJ'er ckadams00), but it's the first thing that came to my mind when I saw art deco:

I do hope to two-tone my similar Craftsman vise though..

Nice vises! The Shop King in particular looks great. The orange and black ones make me think of 1950s automobiles for some reason. Lol.
