Used one of these for the first time today!

What an incredible clamp! Allows me to do things I couldn't do otherwise.

Shaping a guitar neck and forming the volute and heel. Much easier when you get a good grip on it!

Could you please post pictures of the rest of that build? I love acoustic guitars.

Did you use your C.H. Ruler in setting that up? LOL

Sorry, I don't have any other photos of the clamp at the moment. I won't be back in the shop until Sunday. I'll take a few more shots at that time.

Here are a few shots of the build from the beginning.

Here's the top right after I did the sound hole, herring bone rosette, and cut the rough shape. It's an OM size. Neck joint at the 14th fret. The top is cedar.

This is a look at the underside. I had just rough shaped the bracing and glued it into place. Quartersawn spruce.

Bent the sides, (mahogany), added the kerfing, neck and tail blocks, (mahogany), and glued the top in place.

We jump way ahead here where I have added the binding, (cocobola), roughed out the neck, and made the neck joint, bolt on. Mahogany neck.

Here's body after I had added a herringbone center stripe to the back and glued the back to the sides.

In this shot I have added the rosewood peghead veneer and made a center stripe from mahogany and I am making the peghead even where it tapers to the neck using the handy "Center Finding Feature" on the Official **** Hair Ruler. LOL! It really is handy!

The truss rod is installed, (dual action). The rosewood finger board has been cut, slotted and glued down, and the neck is just sitting in place for the photo.

Next week, I will do the fret work.
