Maybe its been seen here before..I am not sure... but I was drawing and dreaming of plans for a new studio.. being a gearhead..... a garage/studio would fit the bill.Starting a building 30x40 is just not in the financial cards.
Have you folks seen this?

Since I would not be doing alot of cutting, grindiing messy work.....I am gonna shoot for this direction.
My garage is a 40x28 oversized triple. It's already heated and insulated.....and plans may call for a large dormer for more light.I could keep both cars in there and have loads of room for commercial and traditional work.(I am a artist)
The nice thing is it has no man-door to the house.....a separate entrance.I presently work from the house.....and my family is great about it....but hey....there family!
I am trying to start this project in the spring.
any other ideas or suggestions?

What sort of art do you do? Sounds like you mostly do drawing/painting type work or maybe some sculpture if your not thinking of getting things too messy. Certainly not a metal sculptor ;) haha.

I'm a photographer/writer myself and I'm thinking in a new venture I'm in we'll have room for a full studio large enough to park a car in and have hanging softlights and all that :)
