Dumb question, These are for compressed air?

Those can be used on water, oil or gases, etc. Even use on live steam if you provide a "pigtail" (isolation) What you measure never comes in contact with the bourdon tube element. The air that was in the line is compressed and operates the B/T. Works the same as a mechanical oil gauge on your car.

Are those 1/4" NPT back connected?

Enloe,

Do you ever get down to Chattanooga or around Hamilton Place? I would like to get a couple of each but I'm in no hurry. Might even get up to Cleveland again Friday. Just let me know.

Enloe,
The gauges arrived today. Very nice, and super-cheap at $5 apiece for NIB. The new "made in China" stuff isn't even that cheap, and definitely not as nice. Thanks again for offering those up on the board, and keeping me updated as you put everything together to ship out. It's much appreciated.

Hi, Enloe,

I've got a box of Hot Rod Magazines from the 1960s and 1970s. How would you trade these for your gauges?

thnx, jack vines
