"Asian" made tools.....

Pretty much all their high end stuff is all made in germany now with parts made in the EU, they realized shipping their high end components to china for assembly was a big mistake. Their pro stuff is all EU now.

Just some of their consumer grade stuff are still made in asia with chinese magnets. Like their ear bud headphones and stuff. Pretty much all the consumer grade stuff are made in asia now with all the electronic companies. Even bose have some asian components in them. How much do you think someone is really will to pay for a ear bud headphone. Think even the high end consumer, no one really wants to pay more then 60 dollars.

Well, I paid $300 for some B&O ones' and subsequently returned them when I saw they were made in China.... I then bought some Senn's that were $199 and made in Germany.

good earbuds can cost a good bit more .... Shure is known for some high end ones..

I have good ears for sounds, but I have never used a ear bud that come even close to any high end full head phones that cost 350 dollars and up. 535 for a pair of air buds seems out there.

I guess they're $199 not $299, but either way, they were not that great and made in China!

No link, the ones I have are no longer in production. The new consumer grade stuff is mixed of asian and eu parts. But supposedly their new RS220 is very good, allot closer to level of their mid grade plug in headphone. But they are 550 dollars.

Ah, I know the ones I have are made in China with parts from Eire IIRC(I emailed the company before buying a few years ago...) I would love to have a pair of wireless(bluetooth) headphones that are made in Germany.
