Good morning, Garage Dwellers. It has been a while since I posted here. I am planning to seal my asphalt driveway this weekend. It is the first time it has been sealed and I plan to apply 2 coats. The directions on the Bucket say "Allow first coat to dry before applying second coat. Allow to cure 24 to 48 hours before use." The choice of wording has kind of thrown me dry vs cure. Does it just mean that it should be dry to the touch before applying the second coat? Your advice is appreciated.

Yes, dry to the touch or more appropriately to where it doesn't stick to your shoes and pull up pieces of it. Two layers will bond together while curing basically becoming one that's why it takes a while longer.

Thank you for the feedback. I was hoping that was the answer. That way I should be able to get it done over the weekend and back in use around Sunday evening or Monday morning.
