Assistance identifing Snap-on roller cab

General appearance and identified top boxes that came with it point to mid-1980s KRA. But there is no ID stamp on the back. My best guess is that it once had an ID sticker on the back that went away. I don't think it's a fake due to the quality, weight and Snapish details. Any semi-educated guesses regarding model info from Snappy experts will be appreciated.

It should be stamped with the model # and other info on the back. Probably on the upper right as you face that side. Sometimes the stamping is light or the paint is heavy and they can be tough to see.

It's a KR 557, probably 1983/84 vintage. These didn't have stickers, it will be stamped into the back like Tinner said. It's easiest to see in natural daylight.

The local experts have convinced me that it's a *real* KR557. But after wiping, cleaning and wiping again, I still cant find an ID stamp .

Success at last! With guidance from the resident journeymen, a pair of Mr. Magoo glasses, a 10X magnifier, and a couple more beers, I can now see KR-557-F 87 in the upper left corner.

It's a KR 557, probably 1983/84 vintage....

It has a much newer badge then that.

That badge is the newer style from mid '90s. Before that it was older style cursive with an underline. An '80s box would have the older badge.

Looks like the logo on the box dates from 1981-1995.
