I'm used to spilling oil all over.

Does anyone use these?

Do they work well?

Worth the money?

I have the lisle version that is around 35 bucks new if I remember right. Works great.

I don't know. I've got the Lisle equivalent and it does improve the flow of oil. It really does make a difference with those engines where they cut some corners and didn't machine off some material to allow good oil flow near the fill cap. Definitely not worth the $59 asking price. You can buy the basic Lisle kit online for $30-$40 tops.

I have had them for years and they are well worth the money.
But I use to do oil changes for a living.

They work fine just like you'd expect. The only issue is, if you have cleanliness OCD, there is a ledge inside the main funnel where it necks down that catches a bit of oil and is a bit of a pain to wipe out.

The lisle kit is good too. Just cheaper. The lanyards for the funnel caps don't last in a shop environment and I don't know what these companies are thinking when they make something like that in a white plastic. Looks like garbage in no time.

just don't use brake clean on it.:wtf:

Ditto! I did that to my standalone Subaru one and now it’s all fuzzy.
I have the pictured kit and really do like it! It’s great for Fords especially F-250 and 350’s! My biggest beef with the kit is lack of adapters. The only one that I’m aware of that you can add to that set is a Subaru one, but even with that you are still going to run into vehicles the kit won’t service.

If you buy the kit new, you may have to remove one o-ring off the end of the funnel until it loosens up a bit! The adapters fit on really tight when new!

I have the complete kit, they have a Subaru & new Chrysler adapters now. Just don't add too fast, on some cars oil will creep up the breather tube into the air duct.

Yeah especially with engines where the oil flow ***** getting past the opening like in some Toyota’s. I have the Snap On version (same thing but black case) OFKIT I got it for $35 off eBay

For that price it’s worth having. The o-rings are replaceable and also cleans easily and doesn’t leak. A benefit from getting it from Snap On which I learned later was that i wasn’t able to get the individual funnel pieces from AST(maybe discontinued?) but Snap On does.

I like these:

The blue part at the bottom of the funnel can twist ON/OFF to control the flow of oil in the funnel. You fill the funnel with the valve closed and control the flow when the tube is in position. Also the clear tubing let's you see how much oil is flowing.
I have what is basically just the hose part of that and can screw directly onto a bottle of oil (handy for gear oil).

I bought couple sets off ebay for 50bucks the pair to be used in my auto shop, we been using them almost a year and they been good.
wouldn't spend silly money on funnel kits as still find the basic funnel perfect for many applications .
