Astro Goliath kit OK for Dodge ball joints?

Hi All

Has anyone have any experience with this Astro goliath ball joint kit 78197 on a 2005-2011 Dodge Magnum R/T, Challenger, Charger etc?



These Chrysler Dodge ball joints seem to be notoriously difficult to budge according to LXBody forums so I would appreciate any feedback

I can easily get one of these shipped to the UK but it's pricey so I'd like to get it right first time!

I haven't tested that set, but I think Torque Test Channel might have? The lead there has a development relationship with Astro.

I think perhaps Project Farm might have tested Ball Joint tools also...

I think they took down their video on BJP. IIRC they we're favorable toward the Astro BJPs. There is a Goliath model you might be interested, which is supposed to be extra stout.

I know people use the Shaley BJP for bigger 2500hds and such. You can get it from JDTco but its about 1k.

No experience with the Astro kit, but some Chrysler/Sellantis ball joint need tapered adapters, you might check and make whatever kit you get has the correct adapters.
