Astro Nano Ratchet

Looking for a smaller head 1/2" drive ratchet for a reasonable priced gift, I came across the Astro Nano Ratchet and am wondering does this ratchet work with all 1/2 drive sockets or just the Nano sockets only? I heard him mention a smaller head 1/2" would be helpful at work.

Then it's a standard 1/2" drive ratchet that will work with any 1/2" drive socket.
