Astro pinless universal impact extension sockets

Does anybody know if Astro ever released the pinless universal impact extension sockets they were working on? I remember reading here months ago they were designing some that would have more rotating angle than other ones such as the gear wrench ones.

Still working in them, as far as I know.

I figure by the time you design, build the proto types, beat them with a hammer and test - you gotta think that takes 6 months in the best case.

To answer your question they are due to be released around the time of the SEMA show which occurs around Halloween.
