I read some review's online. Seemed mixed.

Would rather hear from the guys who use tools everyday.

95% of the time this will be used on medium and heavy truck brake anchor pins. Further im not changing brakes all day. Maybe once a week But because im a tool nut i wouldnt mind the adapters.

Also i know how to not abuses these tools. You dont run it in with a impact till it strips/spreads. Smack it with a hammer!.

Are these Tiawan made? Anyone know if the OTC kit is still USA

And since i cant get the image of the kit to load heres a fun pic from my days at a Mack/Volvo shop.

I've had one for a few years, held up ok. Mostly use it on Ford vans at work and a few oddballs here and there. Not super heavy use. I think the otc is Taiwan now. I'll probably upgrade to the snap on one when this thing quits

Same kit you find on the Matco truck where they give you lifetime warranty.
They also made the c frame beefier a few years ago, and it's clearly forged.

I haven't heard anything mixed, only positive. Although mine I've only used 3 times.

As far as I know the bj1 kit is snap on made. The adapters snap/lock together which is super nice. Spendy, but good dead pop up and there's usually some on eBay/Craigslist

The snap on is really nice and the opening is a little bigger than the otc . Snap on is definitely worth the extra money.

Probably end up with the Bj1 then .
I dont mind spending money for tools ill have for the rest of my life.

I brought up the AP kit because i have been impressed with the mini impact and few other tools from them.
