Me too.Really hoping for a long(er) version of the 78300 or for a 22mm version of the above. Am an idiot and am regretting buying 3/8 nano only through 19mm years ago.
Would be great if they sold an add on set. Wish more companies sold add on kits for 20mm and above without paying an obscene amount for a single. Looking at ~$50 for Gearwrench ratcheting wrench add ons in 21 and 22mmThey might sell them to you if you contact them, but otherwise no they don't.

How much did the single 22mm go for if you don't mind me asking? I have 3/8 and 1/2 nano sets, but I have the stubby stubby 3/8 sets which only go through 19mm and 3/4. At the time I was thinking the low profile would be more useful in the smaller socketry so why fill up my tool box. Little did I know I just had to buy an additional tool boxThey'll sell singles if you contact them.
I had to replace a 22mm I lost.
I also have both 3/8 sets...

Yes!The 78318 needs to be reversible
I'm sure they thought long and hard about that, and I'm sure they have their reasons, but I too am curious what lead to the decision. The 78318 needs to be reversible
Yeah, the Astro Tools 78318 Long Flex Head Nano Socket Ratchet Wrench is nice, l don't think I'd use it a lot though. Didn't want to pay $40.00 for it ATM.Me too.
That’s why I figured I’d wait for from Amazon directly. I can wait a month and I’m happy with $27.39 including tax and free shipping. Not sure how much I’ll use it but I like the capability in hand when needed.Yeah, the Astro Tools 78318 Long Flex Head Nano Socket Ratchet Wrench is nice, l don't think I'd use it a lot though. I thought maybe if Duratech sold a long flex head 17 mm for about $12.00, like this one, but they don't seem to sell it separate.
Duratech needs to sell more single options!
l must of missed that. Can l order it now for $27.39?That’s why I figured I’d wait for from Amazon directly. I can wait a month and I’m happy with $27.39 including tax and free shipping. Not sure how much I’ll use it but I like the capability in hand when needed.
Yes can order it now, but doesn’t ship until July 18th. When you see the the other options, select the sold and ships from Amazon one for $25 and change. 27.39 with tax in Ohio.l must of missed that. Can l order it now for $27.39?
Is it on the same page?

They must have stopped listing it as sold by Amazon at least for now.Can you link it from Amazon? Seller options aren't available on mobile for this listing.

There's a wire ring in the middle of the of the 12 point ratcheting ring that grabs the notches on the Nano socket. How do the 78300 and 78318 secure the nano socket within the ratcheting mechanism moreso than a regular ratcheting wrench?
For example I took one of my 3/8s nano sockets and put it in the 17mm box end of my Dewalt ratcheting combo wrench and it just falls out.
Interesting! There's a wire ring in the middle of the of the 12 point ratcheting ring that grabs the notches on the Nano socket.
USAG and OEM tools also have the wire ring in their ratcheting combination wrenches.
If you want to use that setup with a ratcheting wrench mechanism without a holder,How do the 78300 and 78318 secure the nano socket within the ratcheting mechanism moreso than a regular ratcheting wrench?

If you want to use that setup with a ratcheting wrench mechanism without a holder,
I mean down and dirty way just shove a little bit of paper around the socket to wedge it in your ratcheting wrench.
Occasional use only want something you'd want to have to do all the time!

We do, 78319UPD. We made it specifically for guys that want to update. The longer rail to hold everything, plus the few sizes you're missing.Would be great if they sold an add on set. Do you have a rough cost on this? I am debating between the two, as I rarely need larger than 19mm for what I do. Or just order the 1/2" drive set, so it fits the impact I have...We do, 78319UPD. It's like a customer service item though, so have to call or email.
Wish i was the right guy to answer that, i guess it probably depends on where you live. But like $18? Something like that?Do you have a rough cost on this? Any plans on a 78300-style for the 1/2" nanos? Or even better, a combo flex for both (double ended)?
The 78318 already can effectively go up to 24mm with the sockets we make now, so no plans to do another one ATM.Thanks for the estimate. So close enough to the price difference that I am ok to buy the smaller set, and add if I find I need it. More was asking if it was around the 15-20, or the 30-40 range for the addition (so your answer was helpful).
I put the wrong number in for the second question. Meant the 78318 in a 1/2" nano option. I thought you had done the double ended, but mixed up the model nos in my head.
Any new updates on this Chris? I've been patiently waitingTesting / field testing has completed on the 3/8" pinless universal extensions and something users mention is that all these universal extensions for all brands, pinned, pinless seem to lose a TON of torque from the tool to the bolt.
My team is working on verifying that, and we're making 2 changes to the tooling design that go outside the normal ANSI dimensional ranges to mitigate a decent amount of that loss, which we'll do by verifying. So you'll get pinless 3/8" universal extensions that lose less torque than anything else out there, with no skips, for about the same price as these were already going to be (something like $120? $130 or so street price? Around there). Only downside is a little bit more of delay before they come out.
Not my favorite. We used to have a piston style one that was like a small needle scaler but i guess people chewed things up with it, now it's just a sort of vibratory thing that works like paint drying speed.Any videos available of the 1750K Air Scraper Kit? I would like to see this thing in action. Thanks.
Still another 2.5 months. Apologies.Any new updates on this Chris? I've been patiently waiting![]()
1 year parts/repair/replace. Any source, from date of purchase. What is the warranty on a Astro Die grinder, and does it matter where we buy it?
Thank you for your honesty. Sounds like a great tool in theory but needs to be more like an air hammer. Not my favorite.
