The 73800 is a 3/8 and 1/2" flex ratchet, but is only 10-11" OAL. So that would work with the 1/2" nanos. Go back to #1708 or so to see where I asked (got numbers messed up) and Astro explained their current options.
See below, iirc this would be it:I just picked up a 1828 impact and so far I really like it. I doubt I'll use my Milwaukee Stubby if I'm in the shop. Is that Nano socket kit for the larger size 3/8 impact sockets? I have the up to 3/4 and 19mm sets already so I just want to add the sockets I don't have.
We do, 78319UPD. We made it specifically for guys that want to update. The longer rail to hold everything, plus the few sizes you're missing.
It's like a customer service item though, so have to call or email.
We're having spotty website issues atm, send me a PM we'll take care of itIs there a good email for someone to contact at Astro for warranty stuff? I tried submitting a ticket / email through the website 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything.
I have several of the rechargeable SL40 lights. A couple need a charger plug on the light side. Is this part available? Thanks. I've repaired a few over the years with parts from broken ones. This seems to be a common weak spot.Hey guys, we're Astro. Sometimes our sales staff will be on here to help, but usually our Product Manager Chris is trolling about on these forums instead of working so you'll often get him as well.
If you have any questions about product or warranty just drop a line right here and I will be more than happy to do whatever I can to help!![]()

My nano sockets immediately started getting more use when the long ratcheting handle arrived. Unfortunately, that handle has also shed light on my need for the larger sized sockets in the set.
Micro-USB is inherently not all that great. If the female USB slot is damaged, it would need a re-soldered on through board style replacement. We dont carry USB board parts because our insurance would drop us if they found out we were having users do repairs to rechargeable tools. I can send you a 72SL and encourage you to switch to that, it and its USB-C is lightyears improved.I have several of the rechargeable SL40 lights. A couple need a charger plug on the light side. 78319 is not out of stock or getting discontinued, we have a fair amount and we're adding to our nano socket line not cutting from it. Wherever you're buying from just didn't order enough and ran out before the next truck load showed up.When will the 78319 be back in stock?
I wanna buy more sets before they get discoed.
Oh, and that long handle for these sockets is bad-***, especially for serpentine belt stuff.
Do you guys all want deep or mid-length?When can we get pinless deep sockets?
No, that's my point. I only have the set through 3/4" and 19mm. I need the larger sizes. I think you mentioned somewhere, possibly even in this thread, that one could buy just the larger sizes to compliment the larger set. How would one go about doing that?Larger than 24mm?

Speaking of wanting and new stuff, any update on the extra long pinless universals?Do you guys all want deep or mid-length?
All I heard is a BOGO for both!Do you guys all want deep or mid-length?

I wish the hex and torx nano's could be used with the new ratchet. Do you think you'll add a 3/8" square adaptor to use that ratchet with all 3/8" accessories?
Sorry but this as a excuse just did it for me and Astro. If you don't want to sell repair parts that fine, just say it, probably not worth the hassle to replace that part anyway, but to say that as a excuse in my book is trying to blow smoke up people ***.We dont carry USB board parts because our insurance would drop us if they found out we were having users do repairs to rechargeable tools. But conveniently leave out the part where he offered to send him a brand new updated light...Sorry but this as a excuse just did it for me and Astro. Chris really goes above and beyond here on GJ and that's why a bunch of us patronize Astro no doubt.I can send you a 72SL and encourage you to switch to that
Something soldered to a PCB is a bit of a stretch to be labeled as a common tool's repair part, but nevertheless it's literally the exact and only reason we can't sell or ship something like that.Sorry but this as a excuse just did it for me and Astro. I think you could also get a generic on Amazon or DigiKey or something for a buck if your hell bent on fixing it.Sorry but this as a excuse just did it for me and Astro. It's trying to solder those little dang legs on the Micro USB that do me in every time I think about something like this. Can't work under a microscope and keep my hands steady enough to hit the target with a soldering iron.I think you could also get a generic on Amazon or DigiKey or something for a buck if your hell bent on fixing it.
Me Three. There are a good amount of deep impact swivels from Snap-on, Proto, Grey Pneumatic, etc, but not as many semi deep options. My vote is for mid-length.
I, too, would like to see a 3/8" square drive adaptor for the ratchet.
4Me Three.

Yessss.Looks like total length would only grow about 10-11mm on a mid-length forging mold in this 3/8" drive example.
The hex broach would be around the same depth as current, but the round throat (C) would grow obviously. I know some people have opinions on that one way vs another.
No plans for a master set at the moment, we usually like rails.
