@Astro_Pneumatic_Tools Any idea when the Astro Tools 78318 Long Flex Head Ratchet Wrench might be back in stock on amazon or anyplace else. Was looking for the kit with either the 6-19mm or one up to 24mm. Seems no one has any stock.
I actually just made this account to ask this very same question, hopefully we’ll get an answer.

Sorry gents. looks like the 1st two shipments sold out sooner than we expected. So this resulted in quite a gap to the next one we had in the works. Looks like November for the next two shipments and those are already almost all spoken for by retailers trying to stock it.
We're making them as fast as we can, apologies

Looks like it was about as successful as we thought it would be. For my part, I find it to be extraordinarily useful. I don't think I've touched a long ratcheting dbe wrench since I got mine.

I purchased the 18" handle tepidly, thinking it would only be used occasionally. I put it in my cart for testing, and I've found I use it a lot. Much more comfortable for yanking on than the average offset flex head wrench.

I would be interested in a shorter version, say 10-12".

Any chance of 3/8" mid length wobble impact sockets? Preferably to 24mm (or 25mm) but hopefully at least to 22mm.

Figures, i don't think I'll make it to SEMA/AAPEX this year. :wtf:
Cut 7.5" off the current one and you'll be lookin at it.
Working on mid-length and deep prototype pinless. 3/8" unlikely to go to 24-25mm. A 3/8" impact on a universal already has a hard time on 19mm stuff, the market for a 3/8" to do larger through a universal is rather small and maybe only 2-3 impacts on the market that could make it worthwhile.

mail me one, I'm having problems visualizing it.

Can you go to 22 mm in the 3/8 pinless or are you looking at 10-19mm?

Keep up the good work

I use my 21, 22 & 24mm mid length sockets on universals fairly often. But they're not usually siezed or high torque (150+ lb) applications. If they are I break them free by hand then impact for speed.

Mostly suspension work.

I have the standard 3/8 pinless to 19mm and the 21+ etc from matco.

Nano

Never heard of this tool, any picture and whats their use?Similar to swivel socket?
Astro 78354
Non skip set of 3/8" drive extensions with pinless universals. Takes up less space than an extension with a swivel socket added on, less torque is lost as a 1-pc design, and further - these will be a new "Torque-Saver" design from Astro that with a few changes we were able to dramatically increase the torque from the impact delivered to the fastener compared to anything out there. It's noticeable.

I can't even describe how excited I am for these. N13 Turbos are gonna be so much less of a chore

Those look like a must have. 6 or 12 point for drive lines?

any chance of getting an e-mail when they come out?
If you already get our emails, it will be announced there. If you're not getting the emails can't say i even know how you get on them actually, they are mainly sent to our customers (tool warehouses and retailers)

6-point. They're not driveline sockets

I don't get your e-mails so I guess I will just pay attention on here. I strongly suspect they will make an appearance here sooner rather than later.

I looked around on the Astro tools site, couldn't find anything for signing up for email notifications

A question I should have thought of earlier. Has anyone ever considered making a version of these with something other than hex heads? In particular for me would be e-torx. I suspect there just isn't enough demand, but if someone did I would buy them.

We're also increasing the thickness of the retaining ring on the current and future models by about 15% for a more secure retention in case people want to know the details we'd be talking about at SEMA
Awesome. Thank you for the reply. They do get a little loose sometimes especially at odd angles with the original double flex wrench with 17mm on one end and 22mm on the other.

Something I have ran into twice in the last two weeks that would have been super useful is Nano hex sockets and Nano Torx sockets with the 17mm drive option. I have both of those in the standard Nano set up but they were just too tall once put on a ratchet.

I am a Caterpillar dealer tech. I am always looking for an angle advantage to get around and under things. I have all of the Nano sockets and ratchets and use them everyday. That 17mm hex drive just makes tons of options to get to stuff. Tear a little piece of shop towel and put it over the hex drive and stuff it into an offset box wrench. That makes a mid depth 75 degree offset box wrench that can get into some odd places.

I have a lot of the Onyx air tools. Those small impact wrenches 1828, 1832 and 1838 some kind of handy. The 1833 and 1834 are next on the list. I'll probably end up with the ones with hose between the impact and trigger also.

All of it has been good stuff and it stands up to daily use. I look forward to getting a set of the extension sockets when available.

Keep this kind of stuff coming and I will be a customer.

I appreciate your presence here and your customer service .

Sadly Chris both myself and Harry are getting too old to walk SEMA. Neither of us will be there which is sad. Last year it took two weeks for my bad knee to recover and I'm not going through that again. I'll just bug you from time to time to get the latest info.
