can u tell me who makes ur floor jacks
warranty?
alum. or steel
parts available
thanks
email me
[email protected]

The floor jacks are made in the same factory we've been using for decades, and the majority of the design including the power unit is ours or changed by us.
All steel
We carry all wearable parts

I'll email you this over

Why did the guy send in the impact that you got if it still pulled 450 and pushed 380?

We aren't sure yet. We called the warehouse who sold it and the guy had requested and received a credit - so we didn't have the opportunity to talk with him first.

Eric of SouthMainAuto putting our 1822 Nano impact to good use, also compares it to some of the industry standards.

Finally got to ordering the onyx 1/2, expected here in a few days..planning on using it at work (tractor trailers) for chassis work like air bag brackets, torque rods, shocks and other suspension components where my mg725 requires awkward angles and swivels with longer extensions or cannot reach at all

The new AstroFlex line by Astro Pneumatic delivers on all the advantages that polymer, nylon and rubber materials can provide in a hose while removing all of the disadvantages. By utilizing a specialized formula of these materials, AstroFlex hoses maintain the durability of a nylon braided rubber hose while allowing them to lay flat when pressurized and eliminating brittleness in cold temperatures. Incorporating polymers into the rubber allows AstroFlex hoses to drop at least 40% in weight while avoiding the plastic feel and coiling common in PVC hoses.

Durability is a focus with any high pressure hose, which is why you'll find only solid brass fittings, robust bend guards, 300psi burst pressures and fully steel hose reels in the AstroFlex line. AstroFlex sets itself apart by incorporating the latest in hose design alongside the tried and trusted features you can rely on

I'm about to grab the 1822 but had a question, how well does it work with torque sticks? I know that some non-traditional designs of impacts will zip right past a torque stick's rated torque (I think it has to do with higher BPM not allowing the stick to spring back fully).

Hi xyhapu,
I just had some testing performed to answer your question. The result was within the standard margin of error for our torque stick set when it came to max value figures and vs an IR 231, but I will say that seeing higher torque values from an impact with a much higher IPM vs one with lower IPM is not uncommon and that our 1822 and 1828 were not designed with torque stick/tire service in mind.

Thanks! I appreciate the time you guys took to test it out. This is why I like to buy Astro stuff wherever I can, clearly you care about both your products and customers.

I just ordered a 3018 Inflator from the Amazon link on the Astro website and did not get the updated version. Is there anywhere that sells the updated version that you know of?

I gotta bump this.

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003V5LGYA/?tag=atomicindus08-20

This tool just keeps impressing me.
Its got great power. Super easy to handle and control. WAY easier to cut a straight line over a normal cut off wheel.

GREAT PRODUCT !!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the bump K-Dog!

Prices? My 25 year old HF hoses have finally reached the end of their life.

Hey ZRX61

They are all on amazon for a great price:

OK lets ask the sales rep. are these competition for the flexzilla or are they better I have a few flexzilla that I am happy with. But I need to replace a few other hoses and if these are as good or better I would be game for these hoses.

Without me being so frank that I'm banned by Astro from posting on here anymore, they are very similar. Flexzilla hoses are good, and I've used one on my own compressor set-up for a few years. Their specific rubber polymer blend is patented so nothing out there is exactly the same for better or worse, but ours is a nylon weave/polymer/rubber hybrid that aims at a lot of the same goals a flexzilla does.

If you have the modular fittings model Flexzilla carries that are sort of like AN fittings where you can take them off, cut the hose down and reinstall them on the new cut our AstroFlex line won't be a good replacement for that if you ask me. But since those fittings are "aircraft" 6061 aluminum, if you're not always wearing the final bend on your air hose out, our brass fittings will stand up to repeated use longer. And the bend guards can be taken off if those things bother you as well.

Either way, for price reasons I would wait a bit for our AstroFlex line to be out a little longer. As is the case with new products from a manufacturer, often you have to let a few warehouses out there have it first to bring the price to where it will stabilize at.

Thank you just wondering and did not want you to be banned over it. Which I see that you are not just thought I would ask the pro about it. I can wait a little while for price to stabalize not a problem. I will get a couple later and try them out.

Hi K-Dog,

I knew you were talking about the 209, as a matter of fact I think I have a reminder in my outlook to have me send you a 209 by your birthday if you didn't have one yet due to you mentioning it awhile ago.

Now that you have that, feast your eyes on this:

http://www.astrotools.com/index.php/quick-change-in-line-4-cut-off-tool.html

3/4HP 4" version of the 209 with a quick swivel guard and push button locking spindle. It can also be used with 3" discs.

Hi Mike,

We're the manufacturer, we don't sell direct. You sort of just have to find our tools from wherever you normally buy tools, or ask them to carry more of our line. A lot of distributors sleep on new models until users make enough ruckus.

I gotta write another review.

20151117_191451_zpsfjjjj7dm.jpg

This thing is awesome.

I had the Marson Nut Setter kit. That thing was not only ****, but a huge pain to use. I hated that kit. I eventually threw it away and just used the nut bolt and wrench method.

I have a hand full of cars right now that are going to need some nut rivets and I decided to take the plunge and get the AP 1442. $53.00 on Amazon.
I got the kit last night and this morning I had six nut rivets to instal. It took me all of two minutes to do all six.
The tool feels way sturdy and is very easy to use.
This is one of those tools, if I had known it was this cool I would have gotten one years ago.

Gotcha. I'll put it on the list for nest year.

Looks pretty sweet! I like you can adjust the output.

For some reason I want you to incorporate a ratchet head into it! I guess it's the time of year for gimmick tools again hahaha.
