I ended up buying one of these carts after seeing this thread. I was able to unbox it last night to see how it worked. The cart is shipped without the wheels installed, so it took a few minutes to bolt them to the bottom. Otherwise it's ready to go.
After playing around with it a bit, I'd say that I'm not that impressed. The two casters that go towards the handle side have locks on them. When you lift that end of the cart up to unfold the legs, the casters rotate downward and make contact with the leg mechanism that you're trying to unfold. Is it a big deal? No, but it could have been designed with shorter lock levers, or with different wheel placement so that the casters don't make contact with the arm mechanism when lifting it from the end or side to extend the legs.
When the cart legs are fully extended, it's a bit more wobbly than I expected. I also noticed what appeared to be a cross threaded allen head bolt near the side handle. I believe they called this the tow handle area in the instructions. Not sure what happened there. I set my DeWalt work stand up next to it for a little comparison. Obviously, the Astro cart has a couple more features with the extendable handle and casters, but the DeWalt folding mechanism is much more robust, and it is way more stable when the legs are extended.
I believe I paid $69.00 shipped for the DeWalt table on sale from Home Depot's website. The Astro cart was a little over $90.00 shipped from Woot. Obviously the products have different functions, and the Astro cart is a bit more versatile, but it's definitely not as robust. I'm glad I didn't pay the full $170.00+ price or it probably would have been sent back. I think it would be a decent buy at around $70.00 to $80.00, but I'm not sure I would have paid more if I saw it in a store and was able to play around with it before buying.
